SUNDAY MORNING INSPIRATION: Quotes

In my life I’ve had the rare privilege of reading books that changed the way I look at life for the better. Richard Bach’s “Illusions” is one of those books. Some of these quotes are from “Illusions” along with other quotes by Bach.

Let me know which one(s) mean the most to you. (just ignore the typos in this video…or maybe you could count them…just get the meaning…)

  1. “The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it” <== Yesterday I enjoyed helping Caleb learn to ride a bike with no training wheels!

"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. You may have to work for it, however." <== This is true for family & for business.

    and my favorite…

"What the caterpiller calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly" <== Everything you think may be the end, can actually be a brand, new, better beginning!

I can truly say that reading Illusions 25 years ago changed my whole life.
It sums up everything I believe and stand for. I re-read it a coupke of times every year – only takes a couple of hours to re-inspire me

I’ve been receiving your emails for years and never been aware that you were influenced by it as well!!!

The 2 quotes from Illusions that mean the most to me aren’t in the video:

“Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they’re yours.”
    and
“You teach best what you most need to learn.”

“The Best Way to Pay for a Lovely Moment is to Enjoy It”

Yesterday evening at 9:10 PM a beautiful baby boy was born to our daughter. Moments like these are incredible, filled with joy and celebration.

Flashbacks to when our own kids were born, along with more recent memories of the birth of our other 3 grandchildren, only deepen the bonds of family and remind us of how blessed we are to be alive, free and full of the spirit of God.

Thanks for the inspirational reminders Jeff.

    Peace!

    Your friend Terry
