SUNDAY MORNING INSPIRATION – Gratitude and ThanksGiving (or ThanksLiving?)

“It’s not happy people who are thankful. It’s thankful people who are happy.”

So here is my Sunday Morning Inspiration recommendation:

Watch this video and consider all for which you are thankful. If you are in a crappy mood and don’t believe you can think of anything for which to be thankful, watch the video anyway, and ask yourself “What could I be thankful for if I had to be.”

Either way, I’d love for you to share what you are thankful for here on the blog – sharing it makes it stronger….

  • Beautiful and peaceful video this morning…. you actually got me to stop multi-tasking and pay attention. That’s an accomplishment! Thanks for all you do to inspire us, Jeff.

    • I thank God every day for keeping my family and I healthy, happy and safe. Thanks for sharing Jeff. Is this video what you are grateful for or do you have your own list?

Just what I needed to slow myself down today. Thanks for sharing!

  • beautiful video, I am thankful that I can take the time and enjoy the beauty of nature, so many people are in such a hurry that they don’t notice the world around them

  • Thanks for sharing the video, Jeff. I am thankful for my health, job and serenity.

  • Right now I am thankful for the gift of this one moment as I type this email and the few prior moments when I slowed down to listen to the sounds of George Winston’s piano and see the stunning images on the video. I am grateful for the beauty of nature in photographs and outside my window.

Thanks for sharing, Jeff, and Happy Thanksgiving to you, Marzita and your boys!

Thanks for a beautiful reminder to appreciate the simple things in life around us. I am grateful to live in a beautiful country where we can enjoy natures blessings…..beaches, mountains, bush are all very nearby.Free and accessible .

I am so grateful to have a wonderful family who are self sufficient and undemanding, have good health and are happy in their lives and relationships.

I am grateful for the freedom I now have to follow my own interests and heart…. travel, enjoy musical activities, spend time outdoors, and explore a wealth of interests with friends and family.

Life is good……and it doesn’t cost a lot of money. Your video is a reminder that nature is there for us all. A simple leaf on a tree, a sunset, a flower in the garden…….take time out to enjoy their beauty. You feel better. It is a gift.

  • Beautiful video that reminds us about all the beauty and blessings we should be thankful for everyday. This is the perfect time of the year for doing so as well.

  • Thanks for this beautiful reminder to practice gratitude daily. Reminds me of a quote from Brian Tracy

“Develop an attitude of gratitude, and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”

  • I am thankful for you today Jeff. I “met” you over 5 years ago and you were one of the first I started learning from through your regular teleseminars. Over the years I’ve learned a lot both by what you taught on purpose and the things you taught just by sharing your journey in living and experiencing life as a parent & entrepreneur.

I’m not quite where I need to be/believe I can reach, but I’m thankful for those including you (and Maritza too) who’ve led the way.

    • That’s beautiful Cheryl and we both appreciate you so much! We’re definitely a “work0in-progress” too and it’s fun to stay “uncomfortable” and keep growing! Here’s to all of us reaching further now and in 2012! Love, Maritza

  • I am grateful for the freedom I have found in my life to follow my heart and pursue living the life of my dreams. I love the beauty that I live in here in Belize and the opportunity to explore living with people of a totally different culture. This experience is making me very aware and more appreciative of all the abundance that I have in my life. Plus the great abundance that we have in a 1st world country compared to a third world country. One of the things that Belzian people tend to have here is closeness of family, they support each other through difficult times.

  • Here’s my “gratitude list” right now:

    * Jeff, the boys, my parent, puppies & horses…
    * friends, fabulous clients and colleagues…
    * the fact that we can play and work on computers and in the “cloud”… I would never have been able to read all these beautiful comments without it!
    * definitely nature…
