Profitable Niches – 3 Step Beginner’s Guide to Choosing a Profitable Niche (Time to Get Started?)

niche_thumbNiche marketing is a great way to build an online business. The good news is there are many, many profitable niches out there for you to enter. The bad news is that there is so much information out there about how to choose a niche.

So here are 3 simple steps that beginners can use to choose a profitable niche. The more experienced and even veterans are welcome too.

3 Steps for Beginners

So let’s get started:

Step 1 – Most people choosing a niche are confused by all the different advice given. The biggest source of confusion is the trumpet blast of choose something you are passionate about. The reason you do want to choose something about which you are passionate is your passion will keep you going when the going gets rough.

So do choose a niche for which you have passion. Yet that passion is not enough. Read on to discover what I mean.

Step 2 – While it’s important to be passionate about what you do, you also have to make sure you choose a niche that other people are passionate enough about to spend money with you. Make sure you do your due diligence research to see if there are enough people who share your passion.

It’s amazing what you can do. I know a woman whose niche is Corgi dogs. But not the dogs themselves. No, her niche is Corgi dog stuff – key chains, mugs, picture frames, etc.

Step 3 – You want to look for a niche about which you are passionate and that many others are passionate about as well. Then those other passionate folks need to be willing to spend money with you.

Where those two lines cross, you just might have a powerful niche.

BONUS TIP – Whatever niche you choose you are going to need to create content about your topic. Here’s a quick and easy way to get started:
