Let’s take a closer look at how to get found, get read and get traffic with your articles.
Get found
Online marketers spend an incredible amount of time, energy and money trying to get found on the internet. Writing articles is a great way to get found, and EzineArticles.com is a great place to do it. They receive over 15 million unique visitors a month. So I suggest you get your articles over there and get found.
Get read
It’s not enough to just get your article on an article directory though. Lots of articles just sit there and never get read.
In order to get read you need to have a compelling title. Your article title is just like a headline in a newspaper – the purpose is to get the reader’s attention. Every time you craft a new article title, ask yourself if that title would compel you to read the article.
Use the phrase “how to” as I did above, use numbers, ask questions, and make sure you make it clear what the benefit(s) will be of taking the time to read your article.
Get traffic
One of the first sayings I heard when I began to get into internet marketing was
“Don’t chase after traffic. Find out where the traffic is going and get in front of it.”
Lot of wisdom there. Article marketing is the way to get tons of free traffic. At the end of your article is the resource box. Make sure you use your resource box to extend a compelling invitation to your reader to trade their email address for more great information from you.

Great post! I agree, that article marketing is one great way to attract visitors as long as we post valuable and quality content that people will like. I do submit 1-2 articles a day, so that's 30-60 articles every month to 25 article directories. In that way, I get a steady flow of traffic, at first of course it was slow, but once you have a lot of articles approved, you will see a drastic change of traffic every single day.
