SUNDAY MORNING INSPIRATION: Dreams & The Pursuit of Happyness

When you have a dream you must do these 3 things:

1) Protect your dream from those who say who cannot do it (even your self)
2) Be prepared for the resistance that will come as you pursue it
3) Go get it with all your heart and all you have to give

Check out this week’s inspirational video and let me know what you think in the comments section below.

My thanks to one of my students, Charlene Nora, for letting me know about this video…

Rickie – It is always amazing to me each Sunday when so many people say the same thing – “I needed that today” – I am loving it and so glad you are one of them!

  • Great movie…great message. Thank you for helping me start my week off. Three minutes ago I was fairly skeptical about what my skills today — I’m going to push through the skepticism and make my dream(s) come true…and try to embrace the little victories…

    Thanks you!

I really enjoyed that video clip and wish that a half decade ago someone would have told me that. I tell my son that he can do what ever he puts his mind to, it just took me 30 years to figure it out on my own.

Thanks Jeff! It is a great reminder of the movie that I loved so much. It was so inspirational. Many people are negative due to the state of the economy. I believe this is the best time for me to start my new business. Opportunities are always there if you look for them. I tell my students that they should never let someone else control their dreams or their income. At one time I was a single mom working three jobs to make ends meet. Now I own a business making a strong six figures. I signed up for your program to grow and expand the business. Clips like this help us stay focus and continue to believe we can Go Use This Stuff and be successful!

  • You know what I loved? That they were showing an adult having the courage to admit his mistake to his own child, saying ‘son, I got it wrong’. That takes a lot of courage and not every parent is big enough to do that. But I also take the message about not letting anyone else tell you you can’t – even that little voice in your own head which is the most dangerous! I have been telling myself for ages that I am not ‘famous’ enough to run my own Facebook Group – but yesterday, I just did it! http://bit.ly/cDVwN5 So now I am the proud owner of a support group for career changers around the world – with 12 members! 🙂

Thanks a lot for the video clip. It is so true and yes just think of what the world would be like if everyone believed in this!

Alan – This straight from Maritza Parra:

Alan, You can go to http://gravatar.com and upload a picture. That picture gets associates with the email address you register on the gravatar website with & when you make comments on wordpress blogs that have the “gravatar” enabled (not sure what that means but most do! 😀 then your tiny photo appears next to your comments.

If you need to resize or shrink a photo, you can do that here http://shrinkpictures.com/

  • Jeff:
