With Article Marketing, the greater your article volume, the greater all your other numbers will be. This means you want to get as many good quality articles out on the Internet as you possibly can.But how can you continually get a high volume of good articles out there on a regular basis?
300 words in 30 minutes
A good article is 300 or more words. You can craft that once a day or you can craft that more than one time a day. Each time you do, you’re building content. You’re building good actionable content that you can use to drive traffic, build your list, create multiple marketing messages, and create products.
People get so caught up in this. “It takes so long to do this,” and “It takes so much work, etc.”
You want 300 words at a time in 30 minutes a day.
Example: The five things to avoid and 5 things to do template
Here’s an example of how you can create information and content in your niche in those 30 minutes a day.
Think about a problem in your niche or your area of expertise, and write down 5 things you would tell someone to avoid, and then make a list of 5 things to do.
Now if my math is correct, five plus five equals ten. Those are ten items to fill out.
Come up with 30, 40, or 50 words for each one and then you’ve got a 300- to 500-word article. This is not that difficult when you break it down to simple repeatable “rinse and repeat” do every day kind of steps.
You could take each one of those things to avoid and create an article about it. You could take each one of those things to do and write an article about it. Now you’ve got 11 articles, and on and on it goes.

Jeff,
More great tips. Thanks for keeping me in the loop.
Hi Jeff, as usual, you suggest a practical and simple solution to a common problem many of us have. The answer is templates and consistency.
Thanks
I always feel that the advice people offer won't work for me because my niche is different but until I sit down and try I'm never going to find out who is right. I have downloaded your templates and they certainly DO help.
Thanks for the advice… now it's time for action!
Hi Jeff,
As ever, thank you for the inspiration!
I've just completed 2 articles based on this latest template idea of yours and they're up on my Ezine Articles page already. And I'm off to do your "10 equals 11" strategy, to create more articles for each of the 5 dos and 5 don'ts.
Thanks to your suggestions, it took me less than 5 days to reach Platinum Status with Ezine Articles. And I'm getting great feedback.
Your ideas are always simple to implement, yet highly effective.
I have a friend who asked me the other day, "How can you keep finding new ideas for things to write about? Surely there are only so many things you can tell people about how to feel happier?"
My reply?
"You clearly haven't come across Jeff Herring yet!"
I'm already recommending you to my clients.
Thank you – again – for sharing.
I spend much of my time fanning the flames of the value of email marketing and hear lots of sad stories about, “Why I can’t write”
This is an excellent tip for quick and easy implementation – sort of like karaoke for writing…just follow the bouncing bullet points!
Jeff,
Thanks for another great template idea.
I’ve found that once I start writing using one of your templates, each succeeding article or group of articles gets done faster. It’s like anything new-takes a bit of time to get warmed up, then progress accelerates.

Great advice for both newbies and veterans alike.
Thanks Jeff.

P.S. Somehow I missed you at Big Seminar last month…
Jeff, Thanks for some good, clear & concise advice. I often overthink this and end up doing nothing. I’ll get busy on my 5 by 5 articles today!
Karaoke for writing, I luv that one, 'specially since I cannot sing…
Hi Jeff,
This is a superb idea. Breaking it down the way you do is so easy. Just the thought of having to write a 300+ word article scared me to death – I just had no idea where to begin. Now I think I can put together at least one this weekend.
Thanks for such awesome advice as always.
Have a great weekend
Connie
Jeff,
From a newbies perspective, this is awesome information. Thank you so much. Best wishes,
Steven
Wow! You make it sound so easy! I often do a mini outline of my article which helps a little, but it still takes me a while to write one. I am going to try that ten step method. I'll let you know how it works for me. Thanks.

Jeff, I'm getting better responses using your templates than I did before I heard of you, so thanks for the tips. My question is do you spend a lot of time editing before you submit the article to ezine?
